wholsme® ShapeCopy
If You Can Trace It, You Can Cut It.
Copy awkward shapes in seconds before making the cut.
- Capture Irregular Profiles
- Lock the Shape for Transfer
- Spend Less Time Remeasuring

The room is not made of straight cuts.
- Flooring meeting a pipe
- Trim around a door casing
- An edge that does not match your sketch
- Repeated measuring before a trial fit

Take the profile to the workpiece.
Press the movable pins gently against an accessible shape, lock the profile and transfer it to your material. Use the outline as a guide while allowing for the clearance and cutting method your project requires.

How it works
Press
Set the gauge square to the accessible shape and gently seat the pins.
Lock
Engage the lock without shifting the captured profile.
Trace
Transfer the outline to the material and mark any required clearance.
Cut
Use a suitable cutting tool and protective equipment, then test-fit before final installation.

A physical profile beats a guessed sketch.
Without the right tool
- Multiple short measurements
- An outline pieced together from estimates
With wholsme® ShapeCopy
- Captured outline held in the pins
- A transferable guide for marking

The gauge does not cut material or guarantee a gap-free fit. Pin resolution, alignment, clearance and cutting accuracy all affect the result.
At home
Flooring near pipes

Door casings

Baseboards
Capture a profile for trim planning.
Workshop fitting
Copy suitable edges for small woodwork projects.

Frequently asked questions
Can it copy any shape?
Only accessible profiles within its capture width and depth. Deep recesses, undercuts or shapes larger than the gauge need another method.
Does it make the cut for me?
No. It transfers an outline. You need a suitable saw or cutter and the correct safety equipment.
Should I cut exactly on the line?
Account for blade kerf and the material manufacturer’s clearance or expansion requirements. Test-fit before final installation.
Can the pins scratch a surface?
Test delicate finishes first and use light pressure. Do not force the gauge against a surface.
Does the shape stay locked?
Engage the locking feature as instructed and check the profile has not shifted before tracing.
Is it useful for beginners?
It can simplify layout, but correct marking, safe cutting and material allowances still matter. Practice on scrap material first.
Copy the awkward part before cutting the expensive part.
