Will it pick up every metal object?
No. It works on magnet-attracting metals. Aluminum, brass and many stainless-steel parts are not attracted; many keys also will not work.
How much weight can it lift?
Designed for small loose steel screws, washers and nuts. It is not a lifting tool. Contact area, angle and surface condition affect holding strength; do not use it to support loads.
Does the shaft bend around corners?
Do not bend the telescopic shaft. Narrow access is not the same as a flexible shaft; this model has a straight, rigid telescopic shaft.
Can I use it in an engine bay?
Only with the engine off and cool and the vehicle safely secured. Avoid moving parts, live terminals and inaccessible hazards.
Can it be used near electronics?
Keep the magnet away from magnet-sensitive devices and storage media. People with implanted medical devices should follow their device maker’s magnet-distance guidance.
Can I use it as a hook or lever?
No. Use it for controlled magnetic retrieval, not prying, supporting loads or pulling jammed parts.
